Random samples of dwelling units were used to evaluate and measure the condition and quality of residential Environment in Hilla city, and (239) have been selected in four residential areas they are: Babil area (25 samples), Nader Althania area (54 samples), Al-Mahdia area (60 samples) and Al-Thawra area (100 samples). The analyses of the results have been taken from questionnaire of dwelling units and the environment in which are located, by using American Public Health Association (APHA) appraisal method (after modified and re-arranged to go with the quality of Iraqi dwelling units and residential environment).
