The subject of mathematics in the first stage in engineering study consist of series of lecture groups, each group includes several sequent lectures.
The target of the first lectures group is focused on how to convert the concepts those given in the previous academic years to apply in engineering study. It includes several lectures concentrate on the principles about the location of point in plane, the lines & the relations with each other, the conic sections, the basic graphing of the given functions including the trigonometric & hyperbolic functions, inverse function of those functions, the quick graphing (the shifting concept), the domain & range subject, the limits, the continuity and lastly simple applications.
The second lectures group focused on the general differentiation law, its application to whole functions those are studied in the previous lectures group and lastly the L Hopital Rule.
The third lectures group talked about the applications of the functions derivatives such as: Angle between two curves, the linear & angular motions, the optimization, the linearization, tangent & normal lines, related Roll s Theorem, Mean Value Theorem, the extremes and lastly using of the derivative in graphing of the functions.
The fourth lectures group displayed the principle of integration in both types: definite and indefinite integrals and lastly shows the integral methods.
The fifth and last lectures group focused on the applications to the integration such as: area under the curve, area between two or more curves, center of area, volume generated by revolving the area.
